United Against Drugs- Fight for a Drug-Free Future
As part of its ongoing efforts to create awareness against drug abuse, Empathetic Club of DRV DAV Centenary Public School once again took the initiative to educate the people of Phillaur . The school organized a Nasha Mukti (Drug-Free) rally to spread awareness about the dangers of drug addiction. The initiative aimed to educate students and the local community on the severe physical, mental, and social consequences of drug abuse, emphasizing the need for a drug-free society in Punjab.
The rally was flagged off  with students, teachers, and volunteers from the Empathetic Club leading the charge. The participants carried banners and posters, displaying powerful slogans like "Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life" and "Choose Health Over Addiction."
Moreover, students were explained how drugs can severely damage physical health, leading to conditions like liver damage, heart disease, and mental health disorders. In addition to the rally, an essay writing competition was organized where students expressed their thoughts on the dangers of drug use and its impact on society.
Principal of the school,  Dr. Yogesh Gambhir addressed the students, motivating them to steer clear of harmful practices and remain focused on building a healthy, purposeful life
