The school provides Infrastructure for a wide range of in-door and out-door games like Chess, Karate, Musical Boxing, Kho- Kho,Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton and Athletics.
Triumphs on the Field: A Chronicle of Excellence in Kabaddi
The DAV National Sports State Level Kabaddi Tournament, hosted at DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur, on October 3, 2024, showcased remarkable achievements by dedicated teams across various categories.
The event also received guidance and support from the esteemed observers Mrs Anita Nanda, Principal Lala Jagat Narain DAV Model School Jalandhar and Mr Amit Nagwan, Principal DAV School Gardiwala whose presence and mentorship inspired the participants and contributed significantly to the success of the tournament
The event celebrated the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork, with DRV DAV Centenary Public School emerging as a powerhouse of kabaddi excellence.
In the Under-19 Boys category, our team exhibited strategic brilliance and secured the First Prize, defeating fierce competition.
The Second Position was claimed by BBB DAV Moonak, displaying a commendable performance.
The Under-19 Girls category also saw our team demonstrating exceptional strategy and determination, securing the First Prize.
BBB DAV Moonak again claimed the Second Position, proving their resilience on the field.
In the Under-14 Boys category, MKD DAV School Attari triumphed to secure the First Prize, while DRV DAV Centenary Public School Phillaur earned the Runner-up position. DAV BRS Nager Ludhiana secured the Second Runner-up spot, showcasing their competitive spirit.
The Under-17 Boys category witnessed another victory for DRV DAV Centenary Public School Phillaur, as they clinched the First Prize. BBB DAV Public School Moonak finished as the Runner-up, while DAV Kot Kapura took the Second Runner-up position.
Under -17 girls Dav public school Jaito clinched first position.
Special credit for the success of this event goes to Mr. Ranjeet Singh and the entire Sports Department for their diligent efforts in organizing and guiding the teams to victory.
Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir congratulated the teams and their mentors, emphasizing that these victories stand as a testament to the dedication, hard work, and skill of our athletes. He expressed that these achievements not only reflect the excellence of the players but also highlight the school’s unwavering commitment to fostering sportsmanship and excellence in kabaddi.

"Kheda Watan Punjab Diya" a sports event was held in Dosanj Kalan, Phillaur Block, on 4th Sep ,2023 which was a resounding success, under the meticulous planning and execution under the guidance of Mr. Kulwinder( Handball coach Punjab sports department)
The event not only provided a platform for young athletes to showcase their talents but also promoted the spirit of sportsmanship and community engagement.

On 4th Nov., 2014 DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur organized Chess Tournament under DAV National Games Tournament Cluster-Level 2014. Competitions were held among the categories of Under -14 and 19 Yrs boys & girls. Results of tournament are as follows:

Under the dynamic guidance of Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, our school organized CBSE cluster XVI Table Tennis Championship from 9 to 12 October, 2013 in which three hundred students from forty CBSE Schools participated in different categories.
The closing ceremony was presided by Mr. A.K Sharma, Member DAV CMC and Mrs. PP Sharma, Regional Director on 12 October, 2013.The ceremony ended with heart-throbbing Bhangra in which foreign dignitaries also joined.
