The school follows the curriculum and rules laid down by the C.B.S.E

However the text books printed by the DAV Education Board, New Delhi are prescribed from class L.KG to VIII. The VIII Std. Examination is conducted by the DAV Education Board whereas the X Std. onwards Examination will be conducted by the school as per the new guidelines of CBSE.
Along with the six main subjects laid down by the CBSE(English,Hindi,Maths,Science,Social Science,Punjabi ) the school offers Computer,G.K.,Art Education and Dharam Shiksha as teaching subjects. Emphasis is also laid on Physical and Health Education. The school offers proper guidance and training in these subjects too:

• Punjabi is introduced in class I, Hindi is introduced in LKG, Computer is introduced in ClassI
• A pupil has to study three languages till Class VIII. In IX and X, a student can opt for Vocational Subject besides English and Punjabi.
