The Social Science Department organized an Inter-Class Social Science Quiz Competition for the 8th grade, providing students with a platform to showcase their knowledge and understanding of various topics. This competition aimed to foster a deeper interest in social science and general knowledge among the students.
The quiz comprised five rounds, each focusing on a different set of questions such as States and Capitals, Cities and Their Importance, India's Independence, General Knowledge and Newly Elected Cabinet Ministers of India - 2024
Students participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating their preparedness and eagerness to excel. The competition was fierce, but three teams emerged as the top performers:
1st Position: Team S. Lala Lajpat Rai (Class 8-D)
2nd Position: Team S. Sukhdev (Class 8-B)
3rd Position: Team S. Rajguru (Class 8-C)
The event was skillfully conducted by the Quiz Master, Mr. Satish Kumar, who ensured that the competition ran smoothly and maintained a lively atmosphere throughout.
Principal ,Dr Yogesh Gambhir congratulated the winners and opined that such quizzes helps in fostering a well-rounded education. He said Competitions are not just about winning or losing; they are about expanding horizons and deepening understanding of the world around you. The knowledge gained always serves as a strong foundation for future."
