In celebration of International Yoga Day, the school organized a hybrid event combining both online and offline participation, ensuring that all students,parents and teachers had the opportunity to engage in this important observance. The event was guided by Mr. Ranjit, Physical Education faculty member, who emphasized the significance of yoga and demonstrated various beneficial asanas. He highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well-being. He explained how regular practice of yoga can enhance flexibility, improve respiratory health, reduce stress, and promote overall harmony in one's life.
Students actively participated, mirroring the asanas with enthusiasm and commitment.
After the sessions, students shared their feedback, expressing appreciation for the opportunity to learn and practice yoga. Many students remarked on how the session had helped them feel more relaxed and focused. They also promised to develop the habit of practicing yoga daily, recognizing the long-term benefits it could bring to their overall well-being.
Principal, Dr Yogesh Gambhir appreciated the efforts of sports department for taking such initiative and guiding students about the significance of yoga. He added that yoga practice, which has its roots in our ancient traditions, is now recognized globally for its numerous benefits.
