Green Guardians celebrates Earth Day
Earth Day reminds us that the fate of our planet rests in our hands, and it's our responsibility to protect and preserve it for future generations."
Therefore to aware students
Earth Day was celebrated by Green thumb club,Eco club and Literary club of the school with great enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental conservation. Various activities were organized across different classes to raise awareness about the importance of protecting our planet.
To begin with the day a special assembly was conducted where a role play depicted a conversation between the old and present Earth, highlighting the changes and challenges faced by our planet. Poems were recited, and students were educated on simple ways to contribute to protecting the environment. A pledge to safeguard the Earth was taken by all students, fostering a collective commitment to sustainability.
The youngest learners of nursery class participated in sponge printing using earth-themed shapes and learned about seed germination, fostering an early appreciation for nature.
1st Grade students made crowns symbolizing their commitment to Earth Day and participated in a demonstration on waste segregation, learning to sort waste into three types of bins.
Wristband making activities centered around Earth Day themes was done by 2nd grade students and they also explored seed germination to understand the lifecycle of plants and their connection to the environment
Class 4th students were engaged in slogan writing to raise awareness about protecting the Earth, promoting messages of sustainability and conservation.
5th grade students created promise cards pledging to take actions to save the Earth.Declamation competition was also conducted on the topic ' Love the Earth the way you love yourself'

Students of 8th grade acted as reporters, delivering presentations on the topic of saving the Earth, discussing current environmental issues and potential solutions.

Poetry recitations competition focused on saving Mother Earth, expressing love and concern for the planet through heartfelt verses, inspiring others to take action was done by 11th grade students.

The Earth Day celebration was a resounding success, instilling a sense of responsibility and reverence for the environment among students. Through creative activities, informative sessions, and heartfelt pledges, students were inspired to take action and make a positive impact on the world around them. Principal Dr Yogesh Gambhir commended the students for their initiative, emphasizing that efforts like these inspire everyone to protect Mother Earth.
