World Book Day Extravaganza: A Celebration of Literature and Creativity.
The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.
World Book Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the Literary club of the school on 23rd April 2024. The event aimed to promote the love for reading and highlight the importance of books in shaping individuals and societies.
Students from Grades 3 to 5 showcased their artistic skills by making cards depicting the value of books.
Students from Grades 6 to 8 exhibited their literary talents by composing self-written Hindi poems.The poems will be compiled and published as an E-book by May 8th, 2024, providing a platform for young poets to share their creativity with a wider audience.Students from the 7th and 8th grades also showcased their artistic talents by designing and creating bookmarks
Students from Grades 6th, 9th and 11 showcased their creativity by designing imaginative book covers. Additionally, they narrated the stories of these books in Punjabi ' ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜੁਬਾਨੀ 'offering insights into the plots, characters, and themes.
In addition to various activities, several competitions were also organized
The fancy dress competition was a colorful display of imagination and creativity as students from the third class transformed into characters from beloved books.Each student brought their chosen character to life with elaborate costumes and enthusiastic performances.

Declamation contest for students of Grade 4 on the topic 'Value of Books' was held where participants eloquently expressed the significance of books in nurturing knowledge, imagination, and empathy.

In a separate segment, students from Class X delivered powerful elocution speeches on the theme "Today a Reader, Tomorrow a Leader." Drawing inspiration from the quote, "Today a reader, tomorrow a leader," they emphasized the correlation between reading and leadership development.
