DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur conducted an Orientation Programme for parents of Class X and XI (2024-25) students from April 24, 2024 to April 25,2024 in the school's Activity Hall. The objective was to inform them about crucial matters regarding their children's upcoming Board exams.
The event saw a significant turnout of parents, who gained insights into the upcoming academic year from Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir. He focused on the importance of discipline and values, highlighting the need for collaboration between parents and the school for the holistic development of students. Principal Dr Yogesh Gambhir emphasised the importance of parents devoting undivided attention to their children and encouraged them to be more open and empathetic towards their concerns.
Additionally, the Principal outlined the school's policies, commending parents for their active participation and stressing the importance of their constructive feedback and suggestions. He addressed various concerns such as understanding one's child, punctuality, discipline, attendance policies, and strategies for completing the syllabus. The Orientation Programme aimed to nurture children into happy, skilled, and adaptable citizens.
