World Malaria Day

World Malaria Day is observed on April 25 every year to raise awareness about malaria and to promote efforts to combat this deadly disease. On this occasion, various activities were organized by the Eco Club of the schools to educate students about preventing and treating malaria.
A special assembly was held for classes 1st and 2nd students, in which they were taught about the importance of World Malaria Day and how they can help to prevent the spread of the disease.
In classes 10th to 12th, a presentation competition was organized on the theme of "Awareness of Malaria". Students were required to make presentations on various aspects of malaria, including its causes, symptoms, and prevention measures. They were also asked to highlight the importance of timely diagnosis and treatment of the disease. The competition helped to raise awareness about malaria among the students and also helped to develop their research and presentation skills.
For classes th till 9th, a poster making competition was organized on the theme of "Prevention of Malaria". Students were asked to create posters highlighting the importance of using mosquito nets, mosquito repellents, and other measures to prevent the spread of the disease. This competition helped students to understand the practical steps they can take to protect themselves and their families from malaria.
Highlighting the significance of health, Principal, Dr Yogesh Gambhir stated , " Good health is not something we can buy. However, it can be an extremely valuable savings account." One must always take care of health as good health is a key to success.
