World Telecommunication and Information Society Day

The World Telecommunication and Information Society Day is celebrated annually on May 17 to raise awareness about the opportunities and possibilities that the use of the Internet and other information and communication technologies (ICT) brings to nations, societies, and economies. It also aims to spread awareness about the ways to bridge the digital divide. The school also
commemorated the day by holding a special assembly
for 1st and 2nd grade students, during which students discussed the benefits of various telecommunication gadgets.
Students in the tenth grade created eye-catching posters portraying how telecommunication allows
people to stay connected with one another, effectively uniting the world. Extempore allowed 9th grade students to express
their opinions about telecommunication. With the use of
presentations, computer teachers educated students about the proper use of technology. Dr. Yogesh Gambhir, the Principal of the school, remarked that technology was a godsend during the pandemic period since education of students did not come to a standstil.
