A Capacity Building Programme was organized at DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur under the stewardship of ARO Jalandhar Zone, Dr. Rashmi Vij (Principal Police DAV Public School, Jalandhar on New Assessment Scheme for classes III-V on June 1,2022. The resource person was cluster head, Dr. Yogesh Gambhir (Principal DRV DAV Centenary Public School,Phillaur) Jalandhar Zone Teachers teaching classes - III-V participated in the workshop with great zeal and energy. Dr. Gambhir, resource person sensitised and made aware the teachers regarding the new assessment scheme launched by DAV CAE to bring uniformity in the assessment criterion in all DAV schools. He threw light upon various assessment techniques for assessment of learning, assessment for learning and assessment as learning. Teachers of different subjects planned for different assessment tools under the mentorship of the resource person, Dr. Yogesh Gambhir. Towards the end of the workshop, teachers shared their experience and takeaways and thanked the resource person for his effective guidelines and directions. On this occasion, Mr. Ravi Sharma (Principal DAV School, Bilga) and Mr. Baljinder Pamma (Principal DAV School, Nakodar) also graced the occasion with their presence and asked teachers to implement the gained knowledge and learning in the classrooms for preparing lifelong learners.
