Baisakhi was celebrated with fervour and gaiety in the school on 12 April, 2022. The festival of harvest was celebrated to acquaint students with cultural heritage. Several activities were organized to celebrate Baisakhi, the beginning of New Year and the foundation of Khalsa Panth. The beats of the dhol brought vibrancy to the environment. Tiny tots were dressed in colourful Punjabi attire. Students sang Punjabi folk songs and also presented wonderful dance performances depicting Punjabi Virsa Also, they threw light upon the hardwork of farmers and the food they grow for us and also expressed gratitude towards the farmers.
Also, 'Sarpanches' of the nearby villages enhanced the jubilant mood with their presence in the school premises. They were honoured by the Principal Dr Yogesh Gambhir and accompanied him in distributing awards to the star achievers of the academic session 2021-2022.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir said that schools are also like fields where the future plants of the country are watered by providing information, confidence and the students are ready to serve the country by getting quality education. He stated that we are fortunate that we are celebrating all these festivals freely and safely. It is all because of Dr. B R Ambedkar, father of Indian Constitution. Principal along with Sarpanches paid Tribute to Dr. B R Ambedkar. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the 'Sarpanches' to grace the occasion and acknowledged the diligence of students and teachers and congratulated all of them for making the event possible.
