students Embraced Creativity by participating in different online competitions

The coronavirus has pressed the Pause button on life but not on the creativity. Where adults are struggling hard to cope with the situation , children are engrossed in enhancing their creativity and imagination by participating in various online competitions.
Humanity Olympiad- An online contest
Humanity Olympiad an international body conducting Olympiads organised an online contest 'Speaking for Humanity, wherein students shared their video expressing their thoughts and views in the form of poem , story, elocution or speech on Humanity. Out of 500 entries only 6 were selected. Ms. Priyal Arora, the student of xi std. also participated in this online contest and turned out one of the winners . She orated that every religion tells us about humanity, peace and love that is why no religion is higher than humanity. Today , during the pandemic crisis , it is the high time to act humanity . Dr. Yogesh Gambhir ,the Principal of the school felicitated her and her parents and expressed his pleasure for having such student in the school who realize the value of humanity and motivate others also to propagate it.
Painting Composition
Fine Arts department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar organized an online competition for college students in the month of May on the Topic 'Corona Covid - 19 Pandemic. Harjinder Singh of +2 Non Medical won 1st prize in painting composition by illustrating 'corona warriors' in a very creative way. He defeated 40 college students.
Slogan Writing Competition held
Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Department of Botany and Environmental Science organized an Online Slogan Writing Competition on the theme 'Nature During COVID-19 Scenario'. The participants were invited for expressing their emotions, feelings and innovative thoughts on COVID Pandemic. Students from different prestigious schools used their pencils to create awareness about the effect of Corona Virus on nature. Harjinder Singh, student of class 10+2 (Non- medical) bagged first position by creating a picture of his self-written slogan.
Wonderful Performance in 'Ambassadors of Hope'
' Coming events cast their shadows before'
This proverb is proved right by Deepal Arora of Std. IV. She performed in a competition organised by Punjab Govt. "Ambassadors of Hope "in which thousands of students from all over Punjab presented 2-3 minutes performances.It is a matter of immense pleasure that Deepal Arora(std 4) got consolation prize.
It is a matter of pride that Shruti Bassan,Riya Arora and Charu of +2 Commerce bagged 2nd prize in --Online Business Plan competition, held by CT group of Institution in which more than 100 (teams) participated.They prepared ppt with audio on the theme "Education through animation."
Green Earth competition
“A cool mind wins all odds & fortune thus favours the bold.”
Students of the school carried the day by bagging many positions in the event organised by Green Earth NGO, an International online competition on "Environment and nature including Covid -19" held in the month of May, 2020.
Various events were organised in this mega event like slogan writing, poetic composition, poster making etc.
Sandli sharma of XII Medical stream got 1st and Bhavika of X class got 3rd position in Poem Competition. Dilpreet kaur of XI Medical stood 2nd in Poster competition and
Harshita of VIII std also got 2nd position in Slogan writing competition.
Dr. Yogesh Gambhir, principal of the school, praised the the efforts of students for partaking in events like these during this crucial period of pandemic and also congratulated them for winning prestigious positions.
