Capacity Building Programme on- "Happy Classroom".

Happy teachers create happy classrooms. If we want to give students a chance to understand where true happiness comes from in life, its essential to create happy classrooms in school. With the aim to train and guide teachers of various institutions to create Happy Classrooms where in children get opportunity to explore themselves and learn things in a playful manner, CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Happy Classrooms was held in school on 6th December,2019. 58 educators participated in the programme. Mrs Paramjit Kaur Dhillon, Head Teacher of Kamla Nehru Public School, Phagwara was the resource person . She is M.Sc. Physics and Gold Medalist in B.Ed. She has visited 14 countries and has been Resource Person of Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, Globally validated Master Trainer on 21st Century Core Skills, by British Council, U.K. & British Council School Ambassador. She is also Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer and Fellow. All the participants accorded warm welcome to such a dynamic personality with loud round of applause. She apprised teachers with the importance of emotional quotient which is key factor to create Happy classrooms. She motivated teachers to deal the tender hearts with compassion and try to search the reason behind their weird behaviour instead of reacting instantly. She delineated that one great resource is teaching with Love and Logic which will help creating discipline with calmness and respect while staying consistent and firm. Her very ebullient and zealous activities thronged the whole ambience with vibrancy and exuberance. Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir expressed his deepest gratitude to Mrs Paramjit Kaur Dhillon for conducting such informative programme . He also stated that success is about the way we move through life. It is about our happiness, prosperity, and positive impact and being teachers it is the foremost responsibility to make the lives of students happy and prosperous through developing healthy and happy environment in the classrooms.
