The investiture ceremony was held at DRV DAV Public School, Phillaur in which the newly elected members of the School Senate were officially vested with their respective positions. Prior to this, elections were declared in the school. All the candidates displayed their own manifestoes and apprised the students about their preferences. Elections were held as per schedule. Yogesh Gambhir ,Principal of the school declared the names of the winners. It is Considered as the most prestigious ceremony in the schedule of  school events, it provides a platform to the students to display their leadership and administrative acumen. This occasion was presided over by the school Principal Mr Yogesh Gambhir. In his address to the budding leaders he emphasized that maintaining discipline in the school campus should be their topmost priority. He also advised them to set examples and be role models in this regard for the other students to follow. Harjinder Singh of XII Non-Medical was chosen as the Head Boy and Sunidhi Sharma of XII Non-Medical  was appointed as the Head Girl. Aryan Dhameja and Malika Chugh from XII Comm.were selected as Deputy Head Boy and , Deputy Head Girl respectively. Harpreet Kaur XI Non-Medical and Anjali Lakha XI Com. are chosen as Prefects. Arihant Jain and Navneet were selected as Head Boy and Head Girl from the junior wing. Pranav Aery and Nishita classV were selected as CCA In charges. All the chosen members of the Council were conferred  with badges and sashes by the honorable Principal. The ceremony concluded with the 'Oath taking' by all the council members in which they promised to abide by the rules and regulations of the school with utmost sincerity, dedication & commitment.
