DRV DAV Public School Phillaur observed ‘Kargil Vijay Divas’ on 26^th July 2018.It is the  day when the brave hearts , who martyred for the nation are honored for their valor and courage.  They sacrificed their lives while safeguarding the borders of the country.

Teachers guided the students to make informative charts related to  the day which were displayed at the venue. The venue was beautifully decorated to express their gratitude towards the Martyrs of the Kargil war. The Power point Presentation by the teachers made the event informative and enlightening. It explained the students about the significance of Kargil Vijay Divas and the sacrifices of Kargil heroes, which was also followed by inspirational and emotional videos of the war. Students were literally in tears, after watching the heart touching videos. Teachers presented speech to pay homage to the brave warriors of Kargil. Students presented  patriotic songs and paid their tribute to the soldiers. Patriotism is a social value, the feeling of Patriotism is to be inculcated at school level so that  every  child  will become the responsible citizen of the  nation and learn to honor the Tri-color, and nation.
