The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and our first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, popularly known as chacha Nehru. As it is generally seen, students perform for teachers on various occasions, but today on Children’s Day teachers gave various performances like dances, dramas for the students in order to express their love and care. This day is commemorated with immense joy and enthusiasm . The celebrations began with a prayer performed by the teachers. The teachers were dressed in a variety of traditional attires. They sang and enacted on stage to entertain the students. The campus was buzzing with excitement and joy of colourfully dressed children, bringing a festive look to the school. Principal ,Dr. Yogesh Gambhir appreciated the teachers for their tremendous performances, love and care for the children and apprised the children about the teachings of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru
