With traditional hue and colours, DRV DAV centenary public school ,Phillaur celebrated the festival of nature and rains Teej on 6th August, with full traditional aura. The chief guest Dr. Mrs. Anjana Gupta (Principal, DAV International School, Amritsar) graced the festival of swings. 
Decked up with swings and natural greenery of plants and flowers, the beauty of Teej beggared description. 
Students were seen dressed up in traditional outfits. Different cultural activities like Modelling, Bhangra and Gidda were performed by enthusiast students to emanate their gaiety . Mrs. Reeta Kalia (Ex. Vice principal) and Mrs.Kulwinder Kaur were the special guests of the day. Dwelling on the significance of the fest, Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir said that Teej is primarily a feat that displays love and enthusiasm for nature, it’s primarily a function associated with women folk. He further opined that Teej promotes love for flora. Students and faculty enjoyed swings and different sweets.
