EXPLORE THE ROOTS OF OPENNESS

(6th Oct.,2016 ) Students of  DRV  DAV Public School, Phillaur  participated in  video conferencing organized by ‘Tony Blair Foundation’  ‘Generation Global’. They  participated in various topics  like  wealth, charity and poverty  through video conferencing  . Students shared their views with the students of  Bal Bharti School , Pitampura Delhi and St. Monica’s  College Melbourne on the topics ‘ Internal Wealth’ and ‘ External Wealth’. They asked questions  and told that internal wealth is more important than external wealth. The main purpose of this programme was to  provide  opportunities for students to put critical thinking skills into practice through facilitated dialogues.  Mr. Cory Davis was the Organizer of this programme . At the end students of DRV  DAV Public School, Phillaur  presented their conclusion which was appreciated by the organizer of this event.Yogesh Gambhir ,Principal of the school said that in the age of globalization, ,problems and solutions are the same for all. Students get confidence after discussing the problems with the  students of other countries of  the world more over they learn about one another and explore the roots of openness and diversity in their own culture and religious traditions.
