Earth day was celebrated in DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur, to create awareness among the people for the conservation of our planet. The students of class I participated in poetic recitation based on the theme of increasing pollution over the earth, enrichment of the planet and to keep equilibrium in the environment. The students of class IV and VIII participated in essay writing completion based on ‘No Use of Plastic Bags’. Students put forward their views on the dangers and problems created by the use of plastic and its solution. Principal Mr. Yogesh Gambhir gave away prizes to the winners, and opined that human life is feasible only through environment conservation.

Declamation: Yashuman Sharma- First (class- IV)
