DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur, becomes first in Punjab to get British Council grant consecutively Second time

Following the ideals of DAV institutions, DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur, once again proved that nothing is impossible if one has the confidence and determination to do anything. Although located in rural area, the school has eyes on International horizon. The school has been provided grant second time under British Council Exchange Programme under connecting Classroom. T he school has been the host of many teachers hailing from London (England). Under the same programme Mrs.Amita Sharma and Ms. Manbir Kaur have visited two Primary schools in London for a week. They exchanged views on academic instruction, culture and values with their teachers and students. They taught their students Punjabi and Rajasthani folk dances. Recently Principal Yogesh Gambir had also been to Japan in July which was sponsored by Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific university. For this programme 11 principals were selected from the country. Principal said that the school is commited to move along with the modern world while following the great ideals , values of DAV Institution.
