DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur hosts Capacity Building Programme

Two day workshop under the ages of DAVCAE on Capacity Building Programme was held in DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur on August 1 to August 2 in which the teachers of pre primary and primary level of the host school and the teachers of Lala Jagat Narain, Jalandhar, RMB DAV Public School, Nawanshahr, DRA DAV Public School, Atta (Goraya), participated. The resource persons were Ms. Jyoti Singh Gulati from Police DAV Jalandhar, Ms. Gurvinder Bir Kaur from DRB DAV Cent. Public School Batala, Ms. Ravinder Chawla from DAV Public School, BRS Nagar Ludhiana, Ms. Nisha Tuteja, Ms. Simrat Dawar, Ms. Bharati Juneja from DAV Public School Lawrence Road Amritsar. Through various actiuvities like Dicy dice, spin a yarn, word antakshari, Sam says----etc. the resource persons exhorted the teachers to instil in them to bring holistic development in students. They also focused on the personality development of the teacher. The principal of the school Mr. Yogesh Gambhir expressed his indebtedness to the resource persons.

One day workshop under the ages of DAVCAE on Capacity Building Programme was held in DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur on August 3,2015  in which the teachers of Maths teaching VI,VII & VIII of the host school and the teachers of 17 different DAV Schools  participated. The resource persons were Ms. Neshi Tej Pal G from  DAV school Sector-15A Chandigarh and Mr. Pushpinder Singh from Police DAV, Jalandhar . They laid stress on the errors committed in Maths and how to resolve those errors. They also discussed about lesson planning strategies through different activities. The principal of the school Mr. Yogesh Gambhir expressed his indebtedness to the resource persons and said such workshops help the teachers in bringing out the best from them.
